Kayoko Liberty Print
Liberty Prints
Kayoko Liberty print is one of the best Tana Lawn Prints for summer from Liberty of London. This print was added on the portfolio of the classic Tana Lawn from fabrics on spring/summer 2011. The dense, small flowers were inspired by a design in a 1920s pattern book in the LibertyArchived. but that particular cotton fabric has a very fine thread count and soft, silky feel.
Tana Lawn collection is named after the Lake Tana in Sudan, but it’s constructed from the long, stable fibres of Egyptian cotton. Did you know there are over 43,000 Liberty prints in existence and 120 new designs are released each year.
Back to this pretty tiny floral print. It is a flowered bright sunshine yellow colourway that matched perfectly with our Gotland collection. Full of blue colours and yellows pieces. We have made two essential outfits with that fabric this season; one is the pretty floral spring shirt and the other one is the shirt dress, both adorable and timeless pieces for summer.
